Izwi Loluntu - Tuesday

Izwi Loluntu is a segment that focuses on highlighting the service delivery challenges that communities are facing.

#BPM_Oversight Fridays

Oversight Fridays draws attention to the lack of transparency and accountability  that municipalities are faced with when it comes to service delivery

Solving Community Issues

Applying the Batho Pele Principles, we zoom in on local governance issues and mitigate community challenges by following the correct steps to escalating their concerns.

ON THE GROUND

Nyhwarha Ward 6 Access Roads Badly Damaged

Nyhwarha residents complained about the state of the access roads in their community. The roads were filled with water, had potholes that are impossible to dodge and crevices in the middle of the roads, losing a threat to pedestrians and drivers alike,

A nearby damn dispels excess water which causes the road to be flooded with water.

The road had deteriorated to the extent of developing deep crevices along the roadside and in the middle.

Community Engagement Outcomes #1: Nyhwarha, Ward 6 Access Roads Deterioration Being Fixed

Mbhashe Municipality in the process of fixing the access road issue in Nyhwarha Ward 6

We care deeply about the state of our communities and their environment. As such, we are dedicated to helping our people reach out to their local leaders, and appeal for their assistance in ensuring that competent service providers are elected to deliver quality service.

CENTANE EXTENSION Ext 3,4 and 5 Housing Crisis

BROKEN PROMISES BY MNQUMA MUNICIPALITY AND POOR SERVICE DELIVERY FROM CONTRACTORS

Batho Pele Movement was disappointed with the results of this project. The toilets were installed but no sewerage systems are evident and there is no access to running water. This reflect poor consideration for the people hygiene and doesnt meet the minimum requirements for adequate sanitation.
